This calculator is provided for educational purposes only and presents estimates based on Balanced Wealth Partners' standard fee schedule. It is not an offer of advisory services, and no advisory relationship is created until a written advisory agreement is signed by both parties. Actual fees are set forth in your advisory agreement and described in our Form ADV Part 2A, available upon request and at adviserinfo.sec.gov.
Financial planning fees are determined by the complexity and scope of your situation and are quoted in writing before any engagement begins. Plan-only engagements conclude upon delivery of the plan; no ongoing advisory fee applies unless a subsequent engagement is agreed to in writing. Investment management fees are calculated on assets under management and billed as described in the advisory agreement. The $30,000 annual fee cap applies to investment management fees only and does not include the one-time financial planning fee. The year-one total shown for planning clients combines the one-time financial planning fee range with the estimated annual investment management fee; your actual planning fee within the stated range is quoted in writing before engagement. In subsequent years, planning clients pay the investment management fee only.
Estimates shown do not include costs charged by third parties, including but not limited to mutual fund and ETF expense ratios, custodial fees, and transaction charges. These costs are in addition to our advisory fee and are described in Form ADV Part 2A.
The investment-management-only rate (1.00%) is higher than the rate available to planning clients (0.75% on the first $3,000,000 and 0.65% thereafter). This difference reflects the comprehensive nature of the planning relationship. Fees may be negotiable in limited circumstances as described in Form ADV Part 2A.
